We are just gearing up and so excited for the 2021 season!

We have opportunities for neighbor/school families to sign up for 1 week Garden Shepherd volunteering. Email Ali at downtownteachingfarm@gmail.com to see the task list and get signed up!

Current Donation Needs

Lumber to build a harvest table

Lumber/wire to build bean trellises

A Mudroom Sink that we could turn in to an outdoor sink.

Cold Frame building materials.

Pitchforks (we will have so much compost to turn in the new year!)

Used-up-old-tights/pantyhose (we cut these into strips for ties/staking)

Nice heavy duty hoses

Hot crop starts (peppers, eggplants)

Herbs (cullinary)

Paint stir sticks (like the free ones from a paint store) to be used as labels on our plants/rows

Pruners

Washtubs/basins/buckets

Burlap Bags

Small logs (hardwoods) for mushroom cultivation
