Happy New Year 2017!

From all of Boise High School and the Downtown Teaching Farm, we'd like to wish you warm wishes in the New Year.

Our major goals for 2017 at the farm are:
*More automatic structure and efficiency in the irrigation systems
*More users from Boise High and surrounding schools, especially with the addition of...
*Completion of the the Teaching and Learning Station and Outdoor Classroom (about 70% complete before the snow fell).
*Improved soil fertility with all of our our work this Fall.
*Continued collaboration with Harvest for Homeless initiatives looking at providing nutritious meals to our communities vulnerable families and individuals.

Please contact us at any time if you are interested in participating as a community gardener or with any type of collaboration or partnership.  Below you will see our draft planting plans as we look forward to Spring.  We are also hard at work on the seed library, so Boise High folks, please stop in to the BHS Library and pick up seeds throughout the Spring!

All the best to you and yours in the New Year,
Ali Ward
